An Indian home for an Indian way of living.
The client wanted spaces that reflected his love for Indian aesthetics, but without making the home feel traditionally styled. At the heart of the house is an entertainment room designed as an escape — a space where he can switch off, gather friends, enjoy a drink and simply forget the world for a while. The home also makes space for faith, with a dedicated Ganesh temple
The open kitchen was almost inevitable. Being a foodie, the kitchen needed to be more than a functional space — it had to be part of the social heart of the home, where cooking, conversation and entertaining happen together. Overall, the design brings together Indian character, contemporary detailing and the client's personal rituals — entertaining, eating, praying and unwinding — to create a home that feels unmistakably his.
